A Quick Weight Loss Diet Formula

You've probably noticed some of the numbers that are out regarding the problem of obesity in the United States. It's at a level that we've never seen before. The biggest obesity issues have been with kids. The number of overweight children has been growing at an alarming rate.

A number of factors are involved including the lack of home cooked meals and not eating at a dinner table together as a family. We have complicated our lives by being so busy that many young families do not know how to cook healthy meals. They also don't seem to have the time to do it even if they have the skills. Kids eat fast food many days out of the week and eat in the back seat of the car.

Kids these days occupy themselves with television; play stations and computer games, which are all activities that require little or no exercise. Not getting enough exercise and eating a great deal of prepared foods is causing kids to gain weight.

It's sad but true, over weight children grow into over weight adults. People with weight issues since childhood have a much tougher time losing weight as adults. They're the ones looking for a quick weight loss diet so they can see results to stay motivated. However with most diets on the quick weight loss diet you will plateau out after your initial weight loss.

One of the things that I've found that helped me lose weight quickly is to fast for 3 days before I start a diet. During the 3 days of fasting I drink water and a limited amount of fruit and vegetable juices, preferably fresh. This helps to detoxify your system and also helps shrink your stomach. When you begin to eat foods on the fourth day you feel full very easily which results in eating a lot less. There are many tricks for a quick weight loss diet, but the bottom line is life styles must change for a lasting loss of weight.

The advice that I give to people that want a quick weight loss diet is to have several different diets they will make a commitment to follow. If they get bored with the current diet they're following they can change to another diet that will allow you to eat different foods. The main thing is to allow yourself a variety of foods so that you will stay on the diet. The key to lose weight quickly is to use up more calories than you consume. So it's imperative that all diets must include some form of exercise that you will enjoy doing to some degree. That way you will burn the calories that are consumed and burn away the stored fat.

The key to losing weight is to keep it interesting. As soon as you start doing the same thing day in and day out you will get tired of it very quickly and ultimately quite. So have fun and lose weight at the same time.
